Every year the Linux desktop is supposed to reach critical mass and take over desktop computing. Every year it fails to do so.
Don’t worry, there’s always next year.

There certainly is always next year :)
Can this site have some sort of redirect/alias system to fix problems like this? (YearOfLinuxDesktop and YearOfTheLinuxDesktop both existing.) Also I think some other TMs would have legitimate aliases which wouldn’t need their own separate entry.
No next year for YOU, Hoppi!
(Small Soup Dragon joke.)
@Gabbergoat, that’s why I added the related trademarks and voting. Relate the duplicates then vote them down.
Every year it fails to do so.
That is mentioned on the web page http://linux.oneandoneis2.org/wrongms.htm.
They explain that Windows’ success is Windows’ failure, because the simple UI attracts real people and malware apps.
They also explain that clueless people believe Microsoft’s FUD claim that Linux is harder.
And so they believe that.
And this page is anti Microsoft propaganda anti FUD style: http://homepage.mac.com/shentzu/dmoz/hatems.html :|.
